Elise is the Programs and Development Associate for the Washington Policy Center. After graduating from the University of Washington, she joined WPC to continue engaging with policies apart from politics. Prior work with refugees and asylees, law enforcement families, and mental health advocates gave Elise unique insight into the needs and realities of communities as they are affected by legislative decisions. These experiences prompted her to seek out and advocate for well-informed policy solutions, where families and communities are prioritized.
