Amy joined Washington Policy Center (WPC) as Marketing Direcetor in 2025. As a seasoned marketing strategist, she brings over 20 years of experience in strategic communication, brand management and public relations (PR), large-scale project management, and process improvement. Her proven track record demonstrates significantly increasing media coverage and brand visibility for firms while helping them achieve record growth.
Previously, Amy worked in professional services marketing, as well as in publishing at The Seattle Times newspaper company. Just as she’s a firm believer in the power of independent journalism, Amy is passionate about WPC and its mission of promoting high-quality, non-partisan and evidence-based research to advance policy solutions for a better Washington – the vibrant and versatile state she loves. She believes that there has never been a more important time in Washington’s history and the opportunity to unite citizens under this common goal is now.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, Magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, as well as an MBA – both from Washington State University.
As a lifelong Washingtonian, she enjoys all things Pacific Northwest, including hiking, skiing, grunge music and of course, the coffee!
