Dan Cole is the Chief Operating Officer at Washington Policy Center. Dan’s extensive work with nonprofits has shown him how communities thrive when individuals are empowered to pursue opportunities, free from the barriers of government overreach. He believes the free-market system is the most effective engine for fostering innovation, economic growth, and human potential. This passion is reflected in his leadership of the organization’s efforts to promote policies that empower communities and create opportunities for everyone in Washington.
Dan and his wife live in Seattle with their two children. In his free time, he is a musician with the Seattle-based band Verlaine and an avid Volkswagen enthusiast.
