2024 Annual Dinner Keynote Speakers in Spokane
Dennis Prager, Founder of PragerU and Radio Host

He has broadcast a national radio show for the last 25 years, written ten bestselling books, lectured on all six continents, and his Prager University, has become the largest producer and distributor of non-liberal video content in the world. It has garnered over ten billion views, mostly young people, in 91 countries.

In 2016 Simon and Schuster released a revised and updated 3rd edition of Why the Jews: The Reason for Anti-Semitism, the Most Accurate Predictor of Human Evil. The fourth volume of The Rational Bible, Dennis Prager’s five-volume commentary on the first five books of the Bible, was published in the fall of 2023. A Bible scholar with a profound knowledge of Hebrew language and grammar, his Rational Bible is the bestselling Bible commentary in America today. Solutions to Homelessness Panel
Dr. Robert Marbut, Former Federal Homelessness Czar and Executive Producer of Americans With No Address
Dr. Robert Marbut has consulted on issues of homelessness with more communities and organizations than anyone else in the USA and has more than three decades experience working with homeless populations. He worked on issues of homelessness as chief of staff to San Antonio Mayor Henry Cisneros, then as a White House Fellow to President H.W. Bush and later became the Founding President & CEO of Haven for Hope. He has worked in 3 different U.S. Presidential Administrations, including serving as the Executive Director of the US Interagency Council on Homelessness, often called the “Federal Homelessness Czar.”
In 2007, Dr. Marbut conducted a nationwide best practices study. After personally visiting 237 homeless service facilities in 12 states and the District of Columbia, he developed The Seven Guiding Principles of Homeless Transformation which focuses on root causes and recovery, not symptoms nor short-term gimmicks. Since his national best practices study, Dr. Marbut has visited a total of 1,348 operations and has worked in all 50 states, plus Washington, DC and Mexico. He has helped hundreds of communities and agencies to dramatically reduce homelessness.
William Baldwin, Actor, Philanthropist, Narrator for Americans With No Address
Best known for memorable turns in such blockbusters as Oliver Stone’s Born on the 4th of July, Backdraft, and Flatliners, William Baldwin was an established social and political advocate well before he became a celebrity. The son of a public-school government teacher, Baldwin earned a political science degree from the State University of New York and worked on Capitol Hill for Rep. Thomas Downey of Long Island before answering the call to Hollywood. His activism continued through the years as president of The Creative Coalition to raise awareness for the environment and other issues. Today, Baldwin serves on such nonprofit boards including KCLU Radio, The Committee to Preserve Olympic Wrestling, The Los Angelitos Orphanage, and The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
As his acting and producing career continues to take him around the world, “Billy” (as his friends know him) has set his sights on promoting programs that deliver long-term results in the battle against the growing homeless crisis that plagues so many communities across America.
