Washington Policy Center is pleased to announce the second featured speaker for WPC's October 13, 2023, annual dinner event in Bellevue is national security expert and author, Dr. Sebastian Gorka. Dr. Gorka is recognized as one of the nation’s top authorities on terrorism, the global jihadist threat, and irregular warfare.  He served as an expert witness in the Boston Marathon bombing trial and has provided his expertise to our nation’s intelligence agencies and law enforcement at every level.

Dr. Gorka is frequently sought as an expert in strategic communications and information operations, including those regarding cyberspace threats and adversarial exploitation of social media and the internet. He has appeared on national and international media including the BBC, Sky News, CNN, and Fox News. His latest book, The War for America's Soul, concerns how elite American leadership has accepted the idea of a diminished United States and sabotaged the American Dream.

Already confirmed as a featured speaker for the evening is Bari Weiss, whose public resignation from The New York Times shook the nation for its revelations of media bias and misbehavior.  Weiss is also the author of The Twitter Files, which exposed the orchestrated bias against conservatives in social media, and she is the founder and editor of The Free Press, a new media company “built on the ideals that once were the bedrock of great journalism: honesty, doggedness, and fierce independence.”
