Knowledge is power: More workers learning about coming payroll tax

A payroll tax tied to a law concerning long-term care starts coming out of workers paychecks in January.

Since many people won't be eligible for the long-term-care benefit their tax dollars will be providing others, and since this new program's lifetime benefit is typically insufficient for actual long-term-care needs, some workers will want to choose to opt out of the state’s one-size-fits-few program, retaining their own plans for possible long-term-care needs.

I’m trying to make sure workers know about an option they still have. This week, I got help doing that from two radio programs on KXL and KVI. Hear those below.
