Check out this graph from John Stossel’s latest video on the $15 minimum wage increase in Seattle! It shows a direct hit on entry-level jobs corresponding with the mandate.  WPC’s Erin Shannon appears about 1:18 in.

WPC warned that Seattle’s $15/hour minimum wage would benefit some but hurt others, especially entry-level and low skilled workers. It can also hurt businesses and those who might be seeking to start a business.  Unfortunately, most of the minimum wage debate is framed as “giving people more money” and relatively little attention is given to the unintended consequences of these mandates.
