WPC's Center for the Environment Director Todd Myers was invited to testify at an oversight hearing for the House Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries held in Richland, Washington on Monday, June 26th. The hearing, titled The Northwest at risk, the environmentalists' effort to destroy navigation, transportation, and access to reliable power, was held Monday afternoon at 1pm at Richland High School and concerned the dams on the Lower Snake River, salmon recovery efforts, and efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Those in attendence included Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Congressman Dan Newhouse.
